Catch crabs, eels, fish and explore oyster reefs in this hands-on camp. Campers will investigate the science of being a waterman by using their tools, catching animals, and learning firsthand what it takes to make your living from the Bay. To register for this camp, fill out a form online.

9:30: Experiment: Which bait works best for catching a blue crab?
10:30: Snack and Story
10:45: Game: Oh Crabs! Crab life cycle game
11:00: Interview: Meet and interview a waterman
12:00: Lunch and Recess
1:00: Afternoon Circle: Crab dissection
1:30: Experiment: Check on crab pot experiment from morning. What did we find?
2:00: Game: Crustacean tag
2:30: Craft: Blue crab bean mosaic
3:30 Closing Circle: Wrap up and Review
4:00 Pick Up
