David & Ginger Hildebrand to perform March 22
at Annapolis Maritime Museum’s Winter Maritime Concert Series

david & ginger hildebrandDavid & Ginger Hildebrand will perform at the Annapolis Maritime Museum’s New Winter Maritime Concert series beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, in the Bay Room of the newly restored McNasby Oyster Company building. Admission is $12 in advance, $15 at the door. For reservations, call 410 295-0104.

“To inspire an appreciation of history through understanding how our predecessors were much like us -- in this we share a common mission with the Annapolis Maritime Museum,” says David. This husband and wife team has, since 1980, helped bring back to life the early musical culture of our port city and beyond. A decade ago they co-founded the Colonial Music Institute to promote research and educational outreach.

David and Ginger Hildebrand present concerts and educational programs throughout the United States for museums, historical societies and sites, as well as at universities for graduate and undergraduate students. They appear frequently at Colonial Williamsburg and Mount Vernon. Their music is featured on movies and television documentaries, including the PBS series “Liberty! The American Revolution,” “Rediscovering George Washington,” and the C-SPAN Series “American Presidents.”

The Winter Maritime Concert Series is sponsored by the Chesapeake Music Institute, the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, the Colonial Music Institute, the City of Annapolis, and the members of the Annapolis Maritime Museum. For a complete schedule of performers, additional information and directions, see the Museum web site at www.amaritime.org.
