Chesapeake art exhibit open through Oct. 31


"Becalmed" by William Storck
The Annapolis Maritime Museum presents “Water. Land. Sky - the Chesapeake and her Tributaries,” an exhibit featuring 11 prominent area artists including Jennifer Heyd Wharton, William Storck, Neil Harpe, Marc Castelli and Lee Boynton. The show also includes works by Chesapeake Bay art icons Louis Feuchter and M.E. Warren. This impressive exhibit is designed as a fundraising event to benefit the Annapolis Maritime Museum; 50% of the proceeds of all sales will go directly to the Museum. The exhibit will be open to the public through October 31. Admission is free, Thursday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. The Annapolis Maritime Museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the maritime heritage of the Chesapeake Bay, and provides meaningful Bay-oriented education programs for school children as well as seminars, concerts and exhibits that interpret the area’s unique maritime history.
