Annapolis Watercolor Club juried exhibit to open with reception on June 6, 2012

ready to go by dave murphyThe Annapolis Watercolor Club will hold a juried exhibit at the Annapolis Maritime Museum from June 1 to July 15, 2012, entitled “The Best of the Bay.” The opening reception will be held on June 6, 2012, at the Museum’s waterfront location from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be open to the public, free of charge.

The juror will be the highly-respected Eastern Shore-based artist Barbara Jablin, one of the founders of the prestigious art group “The Traveling Brushes.”

Founded as a non-profit educational organization in 1975, the Annapolis Watercolor Club offers membership to anyone interested in watercolors or water media. Club members devote their efforts exclusively to the practice and promotion of watercolor as an art medium.

Calendar Blurb:
The opening reception for the Annapolis Watercolor Club’s juried exhibit “The Best of the Bay” will be held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. Free of charge and open to the public, the reception will showcase paintings of the Chesapeake Bay by respected regional watercolor artists.
